In the photos obtained by In Touch, Samuel looked stylish with his long hair, matching blue outfit, and gray sneakers, as he confidently held his mom’s hand while crossing the street together on October 20.
Jennifer, who is 49 years old, and Samuel shared a joyful and loving bond during their mid-week stroll. In a heartwarming interview in September, the “13 Going on 30” star opened up about motherhood and her children’s milestones. Jennifer had been homeschooling her kids during the pandemic and expressed her mixed emotions as they prepared to return to the classroom. She shared, “I’m just so happy for them. And I’m nervous and hopeful and grateful. I feel all of it.”
Getting ready for the new school semester is a well-organized routine for Jennifer and her children. She revealed, “We’re big on having everything packed the night before. Clothes are laid out. The backpack is by the door. Backpacks with computers, there’s a charging station by the door.” Jennifer takes extra measures to ensure her kids’ focus on their studies by making sure their phones are left charging outside their rooms at night. They have an array of alarms set up to keep them on track, especially when it’s time to catch the bus.
Despite their divorce being finalized in October 2018, Jennifer and her ex-husband Ben have remained committed to coparenting their three children, Seraphina, Violet, and Samuel. Both Hollywood stars have cordially supported each other in their parenting journey. While Ben is now involved with his former flame Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner has no objections to Ben introducing their kids to J. Lo. According to an insider, “It was Ben’s idea to be open and just let it flow. Jennifer likes control, she thought that was a bit too loose, but now, looking back, Jen says it was a great decision. You can’t hide who your ex is dating, especially if you’re in the business. And Jen has nothing against J. Lo.”
