The 33-year-old actor and his partner, Erin Darke, 38, were seen strolling in the West Village, with Radcliffe carrying their little bundle of joy in a baby carrier.
The couple, who have always maintained a private life, have not yet revealed the name or gender of their child. However, on this particular outing, the baby was dressed in blue socks and a cute sage bucket hat, giving onlookers a glimpse of their little one.
Radcliffe and Darke surprised fans when it was revealed in March that they were expecting a baby. Paparazzi captured photos of the couple proudly displaying Darke’s baby bump. Their relationship, which began in 2012, has been mostly low-key, with only a few public appearances together, including the premiere of The Lost City in March last year.
Radcliffe’s Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint also recently entered parenthood, welcoming a baby girl with his long-time partner, Georgia Groome, in 2020. Despite their fame, both Radcliffe and Grint have managed to keep their personal lives private, much like their other co-star Emma Watson.
Watson, known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, took a break from acting and retreated from the public eye after starring in Little Women in 2019. She even took a hiatus from social media for over a year. Recently, Watson has made a gradual return to the spotlight, reconnecting with her co-stars in the 20-year Harry Potter reunion special and making headlines for her split with her boyfriend of 18 months.
While Watson has not announced any new acting projects, she expressed her intention to return to the screen in an interview with Financial Times. “I love what I do,” she said. “It’s finding a way to do it where I don’t have to fracture myself into different faces and people.”
