Born in 1957 in West Virginia, Steve Harvey, now 66 years old, has made a name for himself as a comedian, actor, and the long-time host of the hit TV gameshow, Family Feud. Despite a famous blunder during the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, where he mistakenly announced the wrong winner, Harvey continues to thrive in Hollywood while being the rock of his extensive family.

A Loving Father and Grandfather
Harvey’s journey as a father began in 1982 when he welcomed twins, Brandi and Karli, with his then-wife Marcia. Throughout his life, he has been blessed with six other children. Broderick, his son from his first marriage, and Wynton, his son from his second marriage to Mary Shackelford.

When asked by Access Hollywood about his grandchildren a few years ago, Harvey jokingly responded, “It’s really absolutely wonderful. You know, I hug ’em and then I walk off, that’s it.”
He continued, “You hungry? Go get your mama. You want to go in the swimming pool? Go get your daddy. You want to talk to Pop Pop? Go talk to Nana. It’s absolutely fabulous, they don’t belong to me, they love me because I give them everything.”
On October 10, 2023, Harvey joyfully welcomed his eighth grandchild. Jason, his son with Marjorie, and his wife Amanda became proud parents to their fifth child, Luz Aya. Steve proudly shared photos on social media of the adorable baby and her four siblings, expressing his heart’s fullness.
Fans couldn’t help but gush over the cute baby and sent warm wishes to the new parents. The overwhelming sentiment was that baby Luz Aya is a “perfect little angel” and that the Harvey family continues to grow more beautiful with each addition.
