Scientists Say the ‘Soul’ Does Not Die, it ‘Returns to the Universe’

What Happens After We Die?

Since the beginning of time, humans have pondered the question: “What happens to us after we die?” While some believe in a heaven or afterlife, others think that we simply cease to exist. However, according to two researchers, our souls may actually continue to live on even after our bodies perish. And they have scientific evidence to support this idea.

The Immortality of Consciousness

After conducting extensive research, scientists Stuart Hameroff and Sir Roger Penrose suggest that while our bodies may die, our consciousness—or our soul—lasts forever. They explain that quantum mechanics, which focuses on the behavior of matter at the atomic and subatomic levels, provides a possible explanation for this phenomenon. This includes the activities of neurons, electrons, protons, and other particles that make up our bodies. They propose that consciousness is stored as information at this quantum level.

Orchestrated Objective Reduction

Hameroff and Penrose introduce the concept of Orchestrated Objective Reduction (Orch-OR) as the mechanism for this storage process. They believe that protein-based microtubules, which are found in human cells, carry this quantum information. Dr. Hameroff explains that even if the heart stops beating and blood flow ceases, the quantum information within the microtubules remains intact. It then disperses into the universe when the body dies. However, if the person is resuscitated, the information returns to the microtubules and consciousness is restored. This phenomenon is commonly referred to as a “near-death experience.” In the event that the person doesn’t survive, their consciousness may potentially exist outside of the body as a soul.

The Infinite Beyond

According to researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich, there is an infinite space beyond death. They propose that the world we perceive is just a fraction of the larger reality. Dr. Hans-Peter Durr suggests that what we consider our current reality is merely the material level that we can comprehend. The true beyond is an infinite and vast reality beyond our comprehension.

Implications for Science and Medicine

The research conducted by Hameroff and Penrose sheds light on the origins of consciousness and may have far-reaching implications. By exploring the deeper level microtubule vibrations that give rise to consciousness, scientists hope to gain a better understanding of various mental, neurological, and cognitive conditions. This knowledge could pave the way for innovative treatment approaches.

Let’s Discuss

What are your thoughts on this intriguing research? Do you believe that our souls continue to exist after death? The concept of consciousness transcending physical boundaries opens up new possibilities and challenges our understanding of life and existence.
