CSI star dies aged 35, leaving fans devastated

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of actor Evan Ellingson, best known for his roles in CSI: Miami and the film My Sister’s Keeper. The talented actor, only 35 years old, passed away on November 5 in Fontana, California.

The cause of death has not been determined, but according to reports, Evan had been battling addiction for a long time. His family revealed that he was found dead in a sober-living home.

“Our family is heartbroken by the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Evan,” the family’s statement read. “Evan was an incredibly caring individual who had a great love for Jesus. He had a warm, child-like spirit and a smile that could light up a room. He always thought of others and wanted to use his own struggles with addiction to bring hope to people.”

Evan had been three years sober before “recently relapsing” due to being prescribed opioids after a dental procedure. The loss of such a talented individual is truly devastating.

While Evan’s notable roles include CSI: Miami and My Sister’s Keeper, he began his Hollywood career with a small role in a TV movie and a guest appearance on General Hospital. He went on to star in various shows such as Titus, That Was Then, Mad TV, Complete Savages, Bones, and 24. Sadly, he hadn’t appeared on screen for the past ten years before his passing.

Abigail Breslin, Evan’s former co-star in My Sister’s Keeper, paid tribute to his memory, describing him as a kind, funny, and extremely talented person. She mentioned his dedication to delivering the best performance and how some of his scenes still give her chills. Evan was known for his energy, love for Red Bull, and his ability to bring life to any party.

Rest in peace, Evan Ellingson. Your talent and spirit will be sorely missed.
