QUICK SHEPHERD’S PIE

Make the ultimate comfort food for your family: homemade Shepherd’s Pie (or Cottage Pie) with ground beef – simple, delicious, and straightforward to prepare.

1 pound of browned and seasoned ground beef
2 cups heated mashed potatoes (I used pre-made ones)
12 packets (4 ounces) of cream cheese
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 garlic cloves (I used minced garlic)
4 cups of frozen vegetables (thawed)
1 cup jarred beef gravy
Shepherd’s Pie Recipe:
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Combine the potatoes, cream cheese, garlic, and 12 shredded cheese.
Combine the mixed vegetables, gravy, and meat.
Fill a 9-inch square baking dish halfway with the vegetable, meat, and gravy mixture. Cover with the mashed potato mixture.
Cover the potatoes with the remaining 14 cups of grated cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes, covered, in a preheated oven.
