CHEESEBURGER WITH GREEN CHILE

So, today, we discovered the “Best Green Chile Cheeseburger.”

CHEESEBURGER WITH GREEN CHILE

Ingredients
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 pound ground sirloin meat (90% lean)
3/4 pound lean ground beef chuck
6 slices Cheddar or American cheese
New Mexican Connection 3/4 cup Green diced Chile
6 of your favorite split and toasted hamburger buns
Directions
Preheat the grill to medium-high.
Combine garlic powder, onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a small bowl.
Gently combine sirloin and chuck in a large mixing basin and shape into 6 (4-inch-wide) patties. Sprinkle the salt mixture on both sides.
Grill the burgers for 3 minutes before flipping. Place a slice of cheese on top of each. Cook for 3 minutes or until desired and cheese is melted.
Two tablespoons green chiles – (or more for the chile junkie)
Serve with buns.
