BREAD AND BUTTER PUDDING

8 bread slices
13 Craisins
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 12 C. Milk 14 C. Whipping cream (heavy)
2 large eggs 14 C. Granulated sugar + some for decoration
2 Tbsp. softened butter
Instructions:
Remove the crusts from the bread slices, butter one side of each piece, and cut the slices diagonally in half to form triangles.
Place a layer of bread pieces, butter side up, in a 9×9 baking dish.
Half of the raisins and cinnamon should be sprinkled over the layer of bread.

Place the second piece of bread on top of the first, then sprinkle with the remaining raisins and cinnamon. Warm the milk and heavy whipping cream in a pot, but do not let it boil. Whisk together the eggs and sugar in a mixing basin.

Pour a tiny amount of the warmed milk into the egg mixture and whisk to combine. Please remove the egg mixture from the heat and whisk it into the milk mixture in the saucepan after it has been tempered. After pouring the egg yolk mixture over the bread in the baking dish, set aside for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and well cooked.
Enjoy!
