CASSEROLE IN THE AMISH COUNTRY

This wonderful, delicious Amish Country Casserole is a low-cost lunch for 8 to 10 people. This recipe can be made ahead of time and frozen!

Ingredients
500 g Pasta (16 oz) of your choosing
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons crushed garlic
(1 1/2 pounds) 750 grams of lean ground beef
600 g condensed canned tomato soup (22.6 oz)
600 g condensed canned mushroom soup (22.6 oz)
1 cup (250 mL / 8.45 fl oz) milk
To taste, season with salt and black pepper.
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions

Heat the temperature of the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and grease a big oven dish.
Cook the pasta according to the package directions in a large saucepan.
Meanwhile, in the Olive Oil, sauté the onion and garlic until tender; add the ground beef and cook until done.

Drain the pasta and return it to the saucepan when it is done.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir in the cooked meat, tomato and mushroom soups, and milk.

Transfer to the prepared oven dish, top with paprika and parsley, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
