Miley Cyrus is in our thoughts and prayers as she grieves the loss

“I’ll never forget the gift given to me,” said the singer.

Because our canine companions are like family, losing a dog is comparable to losing a family member.

Miley Cyrus revealed the heartbreaking news that her dog had died.

The Pit Bull cross, Mary Jane, was a rescue. Miley gave Mary Jane a new lease on life, and she knew precisely how to show her appreciation: by becoming the best dog, anyone could wish for.

According to the “Midnight Sky” singer, her dog was diagnosed with cancer more than a year ago. “Anyone who knows me, and it doesn’t have to be well,” she remarked before revealing the dog’s medical condition on Instagram.

“It wasn’t the first time someone had advised me to enjoy her one-of-a-kind personality, so the idea didn’t surprise me. I’d done it for fifteen years.”

While it is easy to “take things for granted” and “pass by tiny marvels without moments of recognition,” the singer claims she “never once forgot the gift I had been given” when Mary Jane was in her life.

“As she took her final breath, I thanked her multiple times for everything she had done for me and been to me. It was more significant than a friend or relative. Something fresh and different. It’s difficult to pin down.”

“Our contact was simply divine,” the singer said. “Unrivaled affection,” he added. “We have never purposefully hurt each other with anything we have said or done. We’ve never argued and then gone to bed upset. We’ve never wavered in our dedication.”

The singer did everything she could to make Mary Jane’s final days as comfortable as possible.

“Even though she isn’t in pain any longer, I am,” she continued. “Mary Jane died with dignity, elegance, calm, and power.”

Her guiding philosophy throughout her life was to treat everyone with respect and kindness. She could be brave when necessary, but only for a short time.

“She’d never close the door on her soul. “The power to love and be loved,” she continued. “Oh, Mary Jane was a better representation of all of us!”

Miley shared adorable images and videos of herself and Mary Jane, praising her animal pal for their fun days together.
