Following Lisa Marie Presley’s death, new information about her sad final moments has emerged.
Elvis Presley’s daughter, 54, died abruptly on Thursday after suffering two heart attacks and being hospitalized.
When she was discovered unresponsive at her Calabasas home on Thursday, emergency responders did CPR and attempted to resuscitate her. They transported Lisa Marie to the hospital after reestablishing her pulse.
Her family rushed to her side as she was placed in an induced coma and on life support.
Her heart stopped again after she was admitted to the hospital, according to TMZ. Her family instructed the doctors not to attempt resuscitation because she had previously been declared “brain dead” after being treated.
“Family members signed a DNR [do not resuscitate] order in case she passed out again,” stated the source.
According to accounts, Lisa Marie Presley died quickly after her second cardiac attack.
Lisa Marie Presley spent years before her sad death surrounded by liquor, prescription medications, and illegal narcotics.
Her “drug lair” was photographed by Radar Online.
Her entire life, the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley suffered from addiction and was candid about combining alcohol, sedatives, cocaine, and marijuana.
Before divorcing Michael Lockwood, who used proof of her drug usage against her in court, the celebrity attempted to quit using narcotics multiple times.
The photographs were taken in 2016 and depicted the interior of Lisa Marie’s bedroom, where she would shut herself away for days while engaging in self-destructive behavior.
There were numerous pill bottles, a huge amount of white powder, and snorting supplies such as a plastic card and a split straw.
The prescription containers’ labels also said they came from various pharmacies in various towns and states. A sack on the ground contained 29 bottles, some of which were full while others were empty.
There was also a bowl of junk food, an open bottle of tequila, and baby wipes on the crowded cupboard next to the bathroom sink.
Michael stated that his ex-wife used to hide in a secluded room full of food, waste, and illegal drugs. He even claimed she had taken up to 80 opioids simultaneously and had so many medications that she would stay awake for days on end.
Her family and friends were concerned that she was on the verge of a fatal overdose.
On the other hand, Lisa Marie Presley died not long after the photographs were taken.
