Gwen Stefani tears of grief

Gwen Stefani’s emotions have been all over the place as a result of the holiday season’s mix of good and sad news.

After learning of Vivienne Westwood’s death, the No Doubt singer shared a photo of the fashion pioneer on Instagram.

“It hurts my heart to learn of the loss of the famous Vivienne Westwood, who had a significant influence not just on the fashion business but also on popular culture,” Gwen said besides a photo of herself with the fashion designer.

“I’ll never forget the feeling of putting on my first item of designer gear, which turned out to be a Vivienne Westwood outfit. Vivienne, you were in a league of your own; you will be one of my all-time favorite fashion designers for the rest of my life.”

“Vivienne, you were in a class of your own; you will always be one of my favorite fashion designers.”

Vivienne died on December 29th at the age of 81. Her family and supporters are devastated.

Her husband, Andreas Kronthaler, and two boys, Derek Westwood and Joseph Corré survive her. Her youngest son, Joseph Corré, is the founder of the lingerie company Agent Provocateur, following in his mother’s footsteps. Derek Westwood is a designer of clothing.

Gwen teased her audience with the prospect of happy news amid speculations that she and Blake are expecting a child together.

After expressing joy about something she “had to hold in for so long,” fans assumed the star was about to announce that she was expecting a child.

“I can’t believe I was able to hold this in for so long,” she wrote in the headline of an Instagram video.

Despite their excitement, her followers were under the misconception that the news depicted in the video above was not what she was going to announce.

Even though Gwen and Blake do not have any children together, the country singer has made no secret of his love for the position of stepfather in the lives of his stepsons Apollo, Zuma, and Kingston.

“If I were to give up my job right now, the only thing that could go wrong is that I would come to regret missing out on opportunities to experience things that are more significant in life,” he told the PEOPLE.
